Snow again

Well of course, who would expect spring to arrive without a few more snowfalls. It's Colorado after all... We've now gotten up to 74.2 inches for the season, which makes it the fourth snowiest winter on record. Yesterday we had 5.9 inches and about an inch last night. We were hoping it would last a little longer so we could have a chance to build a colored snow bunny. But it melted all too quickly.
Not surprisingly it was right on top of the daffodils ( just starting to bloom) which by now probably expect to be beaten down by a load of snow each and every spring. The fritillaria is looking a bit sad and droopy so I guess once again there will be no blooms on that unfortunate plant this year yet again. Grass is green however and bushes are enjoying the water. Yay spring!!!

Long's Peak

Had to take a bunch of pictures for a project I might be working on. Here's one of them.
