It was as lush and green as we have ever seen it - flowers everywhere. Here is a sample of the flora. May must be the absolutely best month for a walk at Rabbit Mountain. Or maybe we were just lucky because it's been an abnormally wet month.

Spruce Buds!
The spruce are budding and you know what that means! Also the catmint is particularly spectacular this year due to our unusual overabundance of spring rainfall.

New Ash Leaves
Elegant little creations of nature. The leaf canopy on all the trees in general seems to be coming out a little earlier than normal- usually not fully out there till the second week of May.
