Flowers and Plants

Here are a few of my tulips from the yard and some of my plants coming up indoors. There were two male robins fighting it out in the back yard this morning. We had a cold front come in yesterday and we got a heavy frost but it's warming up again today.

Plants Coming Up

Things are starting to come up. So far the Onions, spinach and radishes are coming up out in the garden beds. In the trays I have pumpkins, squash, tomatoes, various herbs and other stuff all happily sprouting, waiting to go outside. Highs have been in the 60's or 50's in the day but over night we are still getting an occasional heavy frost. Flowers are all in bloom - tulips, daffs, hyacinths.

BUSY

It's starting to finally feel like spring. The garden is ready, ( a few things already planted) the grass is turning green. We've been doing a lot to get it all ready. We've had a few snows over the last few weeks but they have all melted quickly giving us some of the water we always need here in this arid western landscape. Just yesterday saw a rare occurrence - a fox casually running down the sidewalk along the street in the late afternoon, until he disappeared around the bend.
