unnatural

It's been unusually warm here in the latter part of February. Trees and shrubs are starting to bud way too soon, setting themselves up for a major freeze later on. Earlier this week it was t-shirt weather in the high 60's. Here's a picture from the park compared with another one in almost the same location taken in January.The water is running high. Snow somewhere up above is already melting. Also here's a picture of maple trees staring to flower. I have started turning over the garden beds. It is also time to prune. We need snow! And rain! And more rain!
