remembering the warmth

It's about 8 degrees out and has been snowing all day. Like Northern Europe and the eastern US we seem to be stuck in this polar flow and it's really cold. But here are a few pictures from a recent trip to Mexico, a reminder that it's not cold everywhere. Wish I were back there again sinking my toes in the sand. I did put the starfish back in the water where I found it after looking at it - it didn't seem to mind and went back to clinging to its rock in the tide pool with the other creatures. Seagulls were pesky.
